Cutting Edge. . .
Custom-Modified Jeans
The other day we went for a meeting.
One of those, um, very important candy meetings.
A dot-com meeting.
And, as the time and styles would have it, everyone in the super-sleek offices was dressed, well, super-sleek. In that I-just-rolled-out-of-bed kind of way. (Oh, those Internet folk!)
But what caught our eye was a pair of jeans: Dark, saturated blue. Cut above the ankle. Sexily split up the shin.
Try as we might, we couldn’t keep our eyes off those groovy gams. So we had to ask whence they came.
Turns out, Dannielle Romano, a research associate at Jupiter Communications, has been making these neat-looking slacks (jeans and skirts, too) for all her friends. Because we couldn’t stand the thought of having such a glam resource kept privy to those cyber babes she surrounds herself with, we walked out with a deal.
No Mister Softee. No leads towards the million-dollar handout. But as of this week, a cool new Website. Dannielle will now custom-make any pair you send her and turn them into trousers as cool as the ones shown here.
DailyCandy subscribers can send Dannielle any pair of pants, and she’ll do with them what you wish. (Ask about the neat-looking trimmings too, and look on her site to see what she’ll do with a pair of khakis.)
If only all meetings were this much fun.
