The Weekend Guide

What to Do This Weekend

Punxsutawney Phil had it all wrong: The thermometer’s supposed to break 50 this weekend. If that’s not cause for celebration, we don’t know what is. On that note, we present the next installment of our new Thursday feature: The Weekend Guide.

It’s a big city. Somebody’s got to have fun in it.

SEE

Sarah Jones
What: One woman playing ten characters, a monologuist in the tradition of Lily Tomlin, John Leguizamo, and Eric Bogosian.
Why: It’s an ode to the great melting pot we live in. (And you could use a good laugh.)

Where: Bleecker Street Theatre, 45 Bleecker St., b/t Lafayette and Mott Sts. Tickets available through Ticketmaster.com (212-307-4100) or the theater box office.

Sleeper
What: Midnight showing of a Woody Allen classic (from the days when he was funny).
Why: One word: orgasmatron.
When: Fri. & Sat. at 12 a.m.

Where: 637 Hudson St., at Horatio St. (212-206-0601).

Barbuto

Where: 775 Washington St., at W. 12th St. (212-924-9700).

DO

Juvenex

BUY

Tracy Feith Sample Sale
What: Flirty skirts, dresses, and coats from the summer and winter collections.
Why: Because it’s a sample sale, silly.
