Threads Opens

No one wants to be that guy.

You know, the one holding his girlfriend’s purse in the mall. And yet men everywhere are regularly relegated to just that role by their so-called beloveds.

Time for the ladies to return the favor and take him shopping at Threads. Opening tomorrow, it’s Uptown’s newest men’s store and it has all the male must-haves from lines like Sacred Blue, Tag jeans, and Second Denim.

But with none of the usual I-hope-no-one-sees-me-like-this retail anxiety he’s used to, of course. If he’s truly shopping averse, she can pick out stuff while he hangs at the bar or plays a macho game on the PlayStation and flat-screen TV. She gets her clothes-buying fix; he gets his masculinity restored to its former glory.

At least until the next trip to the mall.
