Hooray! Lunch is here!
Some chicken sandwich for Hank. A cola and chef’s saladish-looking item for Nicky. But who ordered the mystery-in-a-bread-bowl?
Looks like you’re stuck with it.
This needn’t happen again. Seattle’s own Organic to Go has just opened outposts in L.A. and O.C. They prepare breakfast and lunch daily from all-natural and organic ingredients whenever possible.
Menu-wise, think healthy deli. The morning fare’s light, but there are tons of sammies, salads, wraps, and other lunch options. The bakery goodies (especially the banana bread and peanut butter cookies) are mighty tasty, too. They even carry lots of natural beverages.
You can pick up food all day long, or they’ll deliver Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are some restrictions, so place your order by phone the first time just to get all the details. That way, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting.
Which, frankly, would be a welcome change in the lunch department.
