The etiquette of snackery serving seems simple.

Be it a cracker or a chip, you’ve got to have something crunchy. Then you must complement it with a contrasting texture. Many go for the smooth and creamy— say, an onion or artichoke blend. Others bank on Team Salsa y Guacamole.

However, though these combos meet expectations, wow the crowd they most certainly do not.

But Grassroots Dip will. The all-natural gourmet cream cheese is a refreshing addition to the hors d’oeuvre bar — especially at a time when mayo is the enemy of so many. Blended locally in small batches, standout flavors like My Blue Heaven (blue cheese), Cadillac Rich (balsamic vinegar), and Smugglers Cove (smoked chipotle) have won over better food shops and made fans of folks who crave a new appetizer accessory.

And, really, a party isn’t even necessary if you’re looking for an excuse to partake. Slather it on just about anything. But absolutely no double-dipping.

Unless you’re alone in the room.

In that case, all etiquette goes out the window.
