Turn Your Head makes that process easier (and much safer) than it sounds. Taking the silhouette of your subject’s face, they create a unique wood sculpture whose contours conform exactly to their specific profile. The result is like a 3-D version of an M.C. Escher optical illusion (read: the likeness isn’t super obvious at first glance).

Much like Cinderella’s glass slipper, every pedestal fits only one person — a fact made evident when the muse and object’s profiles are aligned.
