Lard.
Any way you slice it, it ain’t pretty. The saturated fats. The cholesterol. The high school cafeteria nickname you’d rather forget altogether.
It’s also one of the things that Andersson’s promises you’ll never find in their European-style market. Not in the savory, all-natural, vegan tarts. Not in hot-from-the-oven scones, croissants, teacakes, and cookies. Not in any of the homemade dressings that top their salads, either.
After moving to a new Lincoln Park location, owner Michael Anderson transformed his Boul Miche chocolate shop into a European-style market, filled with more than 100 freshly baked treats and serving a full lunch and dinner menu. Plus, starting next week there’ll be free bicycle delivery service around the neighborhood.
Can’t decide whether to dine in or carry out? Sip a cup of coffee while you linger at one of the tables by the window and enjoy the view.
Without any fear of Moose or Tank hassling you for your lunch money.
