Flatwater Opens

This summer, you’re channeling your energy into making new friends. Specifically, new friends who own boats.

A suggestion: Test the waters at Flatwater, the new riverside restaurant that opens today just below the Clark Street bridge. Grab a prime spot on the monster patio next to the indoor/outdoor bar or scope out incoming ships from the rooftop terrace. If the weather isn’t cooperating, cozy up inside at a banquette by the flagstone fireplace.

Whatever you’re in the mood for (breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks), they’ve got you covered. After-work snack? A flight of hot dogs and beer pairings. Light lunch? Choose from nine salads and a great selection of sandwiches and burgers.

Lucky skippers arriving by boat can call ahead for carryout or cruise in for boat-side service along the 400-foot dock.
