You’re underage and Mom bursts into the kitchen while you’re holding a bottle of booze. Busted. Bummer, dude.
Not so fast. Because you are Lauren Miller, a.k.a. Sweet Lauren Baked Goods. And the only way to make your soon-to-be famous vodka Bundt cake is if your mom helps handle your biz.
And it’s a good thing she does; otherwise the world might have missed out on Lauren’s ultra-spongy, eight-inch rounds. And though they might not be kiddie-friendly, they certainly are scrumptious.
For all-ages fun, try the banana chocolate chip bread (sold three loaves at a time) and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (in batches of ten or a baker’s dime, if you will).
Baked to order and priced as such (the Bundt is $45), goods are presented in simple white boxes tied with pink ribbon and can be picked up, delivered, or shipped. But no matter how you get them, be warned: They can be habit forming.
In which case, you might be in trouble after all.
