Good thing there’s a quaff for every occasion at Brut, which opened quietly last month next to the Hotel Palomar. The cozy retail shop-cum-tasting room devotes its entire inventory to the fizzy stuff, stocking more than 150 sparklers.

Look for future lectures and chef-led food pairings. Until then have a seat in the comfy lounge every Friday for a free tasting. Or treat someone special to the daily by-the-glass offerings.
