Any guru will tell you to enjoy the process.
But here’s the secret to fulfillment (or at least fullness): Atelier, the new cafe, bakery, and gourmet shop where Boule’s sweet magic happens as of today.
The new place is just 98 feet from the old digs and still working the signature blue, only now you can nosh at the counter, pick up lavender salt, or watch as pastry chefs and chocolatiers bust out the goods in the immaculate white and stainless steel open kitchen.
Exotic additions to the scrumptious repertoire include pain aux raisins with orange flower cream, pain au lait au thé, and Sona’s signature Grissini sticks. And even with all the seasonal treats like autumn nougat with dried cherries, Meli Melo cardamom marshmallows, and Brittany éclairs with fleur de sel and caramel, there’s room for glacerie ice creams like sweet corn or spéculaas with chunky ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice.
How will you ever choose a favorite?
Try the process of elimination.
