We could go on about comfort food. But we’d rather be eating.
You, too?
Get your fill of Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restaurant’s down-home cooking at Community Food & Juice, opening today for breakfast and lunch (dinner and late-night menu coming soon).
Blueberry pancakes, fried chicken — this is the cozy food we crave, lightened up for its Morningside Heights debut.
The huge space was designed in accordance with Green Restaurant Association guidelines, ensuring that building materials were as intelligently sourced as the local ingredients on the menu.
The healthful concept shines through, whether you’re running in for a quick, fresh-from-the-tree juice blend or settling down for a B.E.L.T. (e is for egg), or crispy Cornish hen and bottle of organic wine.
You’ll also find Clinton St.’s baked goods (banana chocolate chunk muffins, goat cheese herb scones) and those famous pancakes. Only now there’s a seven-grain waffle, too.
Isn’t that a mouthful?
