Before you cast your ballot (and you are voting), visit Citizen Jane Politics, the new nonpartisan political website tailored to women voters that’s chockful of awesome video interviews, tidbits, and comparisons.

Founder/editor/political insider Patricia Murphy is hot on the rubber chicken circuit (right now, in South Carolina) — video camera in hand. She’s asking candidates, their S.O.’s, reporters, and not-so-average Janes how this election will impact women. In the spotlight so far: Michelle Obama, CNN’s Candy Crowley, Elizabeth Edwards, Rudy, and Mitt. Murphy plans to talk to every candidate before Super Tuesday.

She started the site after learning that only 20 percent of visitors to political websites are women — even though they make up 55 percent of the electorate.

Crazy, right?
