This may come as a surprise, but there are people in Philadelphia who don’t have enough to eat. (Strange, given we’re the junk-food capital of the universe.)
Get bummed out and guilt stricken, then do something about it: The fine people at Philabundance are offering you a chance to make a difference. Philabundance has been a local resource for a while, but the job is hard and they can use some new help.
And there’s a practical way to get food to people who need it: Host a food drive. Philabundance will pick up donations — 300 pounds or more, collected in ten medium-size boxes. If you have fewer than ten boxes, you can drop them off at the headquarters.
Just in case you need another reason to feel good about yourself.
