Epilar Treatment

We know it hurts, but we also know the importance of being well groomed. Hence we impart our experience with the latest in waxing.

We went to Rachel Fiorella at Rescue Rittenhouse Spa for Epilar, a treatment that makes getting your pubes ripped out a walk in the park, compared to that dingy basement operation run by an ogre-like woman who yells at you with a confusing accent.

Basically, it’s a regular wax followed by applications of Epilar Inhibitor and Activator gels, rubbed in for one minute each. These unguents decrease pain and hit the empty hair follicles and others in the regrowth phase, supposedly inhibiting hair growth so the wax lasts longer.

Which, if you do the math, means a less painful summer.
