Sweet Potato

Tierra Miguel Foundation Farm CSA Program

Conventional, organic, local, imported, bioengineered, biodynamic, pesticide free: All the certified food labels being thrown around make you feel, well, certifiable.

Make shopping for produce less of a production by becoming a member of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at Tierra Miguel Foundation Farm, just 90 miles outside L.A.

Shareholders pay up-front for a year of organically grown and seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herb deliveries. Choose a weekly or biweekly schedule, select your nearest pick-up spot (there are more than 40), and await the fruits and veggies of the earth for less than a fill-up of your canvas grocery bag.

Want to see where your food’s coming from? On the first Saturday of every month, visitors are invited to take a tour of the farm and get their hands dirty.

It’s very barns and noble.

Tierra Miguel Foundation Farm (760-742-4213 or tierramiguelfarm.org). Sign up for next season by August 16.
