Check out this dame, gettin’ all dolled up in her glad rags for a night on the town. What an owl.
What? No cabarets for the hoofer? She’s looking for hooch, plain and simple.
She’ll dig The Marliave. It’s the new joint from Scott Herritt (Grotto) and the fourth oldest restaurant in town. There’s an oyster bar and three stories of drinking space. The upstairs dining room opens next week, so she’ll surely get a few nibbles of rarebit and a couple dozen half shells for a few clams.
The big cheese himself is there. Give his rack of lamb with truffle sauce a go or hit up the gin slinger for a real raspberry vodka — that’s crushed fruit and the clear stuff, right? Says you.
Now go on, get the hayburner. This spot’s on the level.
