For their foray into foundation pinnings, Satine’s Jeannie Lee and Virginia Pereira skipped the froufrou Frenchies and headed straight for the everyday romance of Italy, snipping inspiration from men’s shirting and ties and old curtains and tablecloths.

The result? A collection of well-priced pieces to love: striped silk bralettes and tap shorts with kicky lace details; stretchy and supportive lace tanks made for layering; and just-right floral chemises, camis, and bloomers.
