The last time you and your mom collaborated on a project was Christmas dinner. Two slammed doors and a burnt hen later, you converted.

So Lotus London, designed by a mother-daughter duo, must seem like a miracle.

The line, a hit in the UK, has made its way to Miami — and what better intro than breezy beachwear in spring colors. Inspired by time the pair spent in India, the Cruise collection employs traditional weaving, embroidery, and dying.

Kaftans, sundresses, and tunics have intricate details: bell sleeves adorned with pom-pom trim, an ikat print edged with silver sequins, silk embroidered with gold thread. Standouts include the Rissa poncho: sheer pink cotton printed with golden leaves — available as a maxi or mini.

All the pieces have a high-end, please-don’t-get-me-wet look.
