The Feedback Lounge Opens

The single biker glove, web of Aqua Net, and painted-on leathers make you really bangin’, baby.

Head to West Seattle’s new Feedback Lounge, which crosses beyond the contrivances of a theme bar into an obsession.

Local owner Jeff Gilbert (longtime author, producer, and booker) has assembled a lifetime’s worth of ticket stubs, books, guitars, photos, concert footage, and other miscellany (favoring the legendary hair bands), all of which are on display.

The Rok Box (currently showcasing Kiss) alternates paraphernalia of great groups. Anomalous axes hang over the Whammy Bar, while stools display Ramones, Misfits, et al logos.

A small but well-executed menu and cocktail list with luxuries like house-made falernum (sweet almond, ginger, and lime syrup), berry shrub, and egg whites make this bar worth more than a gander.

Prepare to rock out with your cocktail out.
