In a world that seemed sunny and safe, one couple has set out to destroy us. This summer Miami is under siege.
(Picture falling debris and screaming bikini-clad women.)
In a plot to unleash meteors on Magic City, sculptors Trisha Brookbank and Brian Burkhardt have joined forces — and names — to create Triian, a line of sculpted jewelry.
In their lair (studio), the talented artists craft synthetic, meteor-inspired stones out of resin. Then they paint and seal each piece, creating colorful, geometric gems. Finally, the stones are hand-set with Swarovski crystals and assembled into jewelry. The result: dangerously eye-catching trinkets (translucent bangles, dangling earrings, chunky necklaces).
Prepare to fall for their modern take on the cocktail ring: The stone, which looks like it was cut from a cliff, is tricked out with red gems.
It’ll make a deep impact.
