Authentique Decor Boutique

They say you should fake it till you make it.

But there’s an argument to be made for keeping it real: Authentique, the new home decor shop from modern vintage enthusiast Candi McElhannon.

Located between Adaptation and Cacao, the shop houses bleached wood branches, Capri Blue candles, and antique books on Industrial-era carts re-envisioned as table fixtures. An oversize bookshelf displays burlap-covered pillows, Romeo y Julieta cigar boxes, and decorative clothes. Try to resist the wall hanging-worthy Red Cross flag.

McElhannon is constantly restocking the store with neat finds. And though you’ll wish the delicate paper parasols, fresh orchids, and steamer luggage were up for grabs …

They’re just faux show.
