The last time you went to the salon, you came out looking like a member of Stryper. And had the sneaking suspicion you could have done better yourself.
Take matters into your own hands with Moko’s beauty school nights.
Taught by in-house aestheticians, each class combines makeup and hair lessons, so you’ll learn everything from perfecting the smoky eye to mastering a blowout (while using organic products). Bring magazine tears and they’ll even help you duplicate an up-do just in time for the holidays.
Small class sizes ensure individual attention, so sign up fast. Or grab a gaggle of friends for a private tutorial and tailor the topic to your tastes.
You’ll get gift bags, a discount on products bought that night, and a handle on your mop.
For that, they deserve a hair medal.
Classes start Oct0ber 29, at Moko, 55 North Third Street (215-922-6656 or mokobeauty.com).

Attended the Philadelphia Window Contest Event last night on Third and Arch in Olde City and the hostess was Monique, owner of MOKO at 55 N. Arch Street (dynamic staff). What a great celebration to recognize those who designed the business windows throughout Olde City! Monique is someone who is dedicated not only to providing her clients with products and first-class services that are top of the line (knows how to make you look and feel great), but also with being a vital part of the Olde City community so that everyone will know how great an area it is to shop in----Olde City is THE place to be. Thank you Monique. Thank you MOKO!
