Rain + Jack Knitwear

rain + jack!

Oh, that pout, those weepers, the furled brow: We know that face. It’s all his fault.

And while we’d love reach through the screen to give you a squeeze, you’ll have to settle for warm fuzzies.

Named for the intersection where their studio sits (Rainier and Jackson), Rain + Jack knits are a project of love from Seattle design duo Si Doi and Helen Sharp.

Custom-order the Scotland-spun Australian lambswool knits in colors or patterns to suit (or boost) your mood. Then wrap up in a scarf, scarfigan (a cardigan/scarf combo with buttons), or — if it’s really that bad — a blanket. Fingerless gloves and hats with unfinished edges keep you looking cute when things are rough.

It helps to be surrounded by a close-knit group.

Available at A Mano, 1115 First Avenue (206-292-1767 or shopamano.com); Juniper, 3314 East Spring Street (206-838-7496 or juniperinmadrona.com); online at rainandjack.com.
