Real friends are the ones that count. Like Telo Dunne and Olivia Shanks, best pals and codesigners of budding local line Imaginary People. The former models met in college, bonding over the endless search for long inseams.

Today they keep busy reinventing staples. A drapey, cape-back tee kicks your Hanes to the curb. A long, statement-making vest hangs below the thighs. The nut-buttoned henley is perfectly androgynous. The backless dress kills at night.

Designed to be layered, the collection appears basic (the palette is black, white, navy, charcoal, and paisley), but it’s nothing short of miraculous.
