Sorry to break the news: You’re not God.
But people will sing your praises when you serve them Saint Cupcakes. The Portland-based bakery’s goodies are now taking flight.
Just head to the site and specify the amount (in multiples of three), flavors, and toppings. Soon you’ll receive a kit that includes the moist baked plain cuppies, frosting, and sprinkles, along with an icing wand and decorating tips. So it wouldn’t really be a sin to claim them as your own.
Favorite combos include carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and toasted coconut, vanilla chocolate chip with hot fudge icing and rainbow quinns, and chocolate with mint buttercream and white jimmies. For the vegans: chocolate or vanilla cake and frosting.
Of course, such heavenly treats are chockful of calories.
But even you only live once.

I LOVE SAINT CUPCAKE! One of the most heartbreaking things of moving away from Chicago, IL was leaving my job that was less than a block away from Sweet Mandy B's - the bakery that I was convinced had the best cupcakes in the world. And then, I discovered, a mere few blocks from my new home in Portland, Saint Cupcake. KNOCK-YER-SOCKS OFF! You can bet that all of my nieces and nephews across the country will be enjoying SC for their birthdays this year, thanks to the new innovative, build-it-yourself techniques. Even my egg-free lil' niece will get her share, with the vegan version! Thank you, Saint Cupcake, for answering my prayers!

This is great! What an awesome idea! What a way to cheer up someone's day and help a friend or family member who's out of the area celebrate their birthday?? Yes, it would be less expensive to bake your own...but you decide when and if you want to induldge in saint cupcakes. Maybe for a special occassion? To me this is no different than sending someone flowers, cookie bouquets or edible fruit bouquets. Congrats saint cupcake, hope your business continues to grow & I'm looking forward to trying what is said to be portlands finest! :)

i've gotta say, this is one of the cutest gifts i've ever seen. we sent them to some relatives in austin, tx and they were so excited. they thought the best part was icing and decorating the cakes themselves, a little cupcake party! and the price is totally worth it when you consider the unbelievably cute packaging and all the fun goodies inside. i plan to order them again for a friend in LA. saint cupcake has a great product and we love them!

I must say, I'm a total fan of Saint Cupcake- they've ruined me of eating anyone elses cakes- they're seriously that good. And it's not SEVEN dollars a cupcake- it's like $2 something- shipping included! And while we all appreciate the tough times we're going through- this is a consumer shopping site- it actually might cheer someone up to get a cute little kit in the mail. Anyway- big fan- am excited to see that i can ship Portland's ORIGINAL cupcake bakery's goodies to my family back in the east coast. You go Saint Cupcake!

Seattle, get over yourself. Nobody if forcing you to buy this NORTHWEST PRODUCT. Yes, you should give business to your local companies. That is what we do in Portland. Saint Cupcakes has been phenomenally successful here because they make a good high quality product and treat their customers and employees extremely well. If you know Seattle businesses like this, you should give them your business and make sure they stay in business, by all means. And we in Portland are delighted that we can now send the best cupcakes in the known universe to our friends and relatives.

wow! thanks for the love, everyone! it's saint cupcake here - just trying to make sure everyone's squared away on our pricing...we ship in quantities of 3, 6 and 12. each cupcake is right around $3 - not including shipping. and we CAN say recession. we're a (tiny) small business employing people who need jobs...doing our best to make payroll and stay afloat. thanks for taking the time to comment!

OMG- Have the Saints of Cupcakes realized that if they were all that saintly they could feed a third world country with the price they charge for a cupcake?! Can the saints of cupcakes say "RECESSION"????????????and they deliver with some assembly required- can anyone say 'pathetic'?

Oh perfect! Another overpriced cupcake place marketing to Seattle folks on Daily Candy. Why wouldnt we just use the eight or so different companies in our market vs. order from a Portland company?

While I am all for it... It is just as easier to bake your own...

Trust me, people love these little kits! They make really fun, great gifts. And thank you to Saint Cupcake for being one of very few bakeries in Portland to hire bakers during this recession! I was the first in my graduating culinary class to get a local PAYING job! Such a great place to work, with such great people, and great quality products.
