And Mélangerie’s Elana Dweck, designer of creative collectibles, can prove it. Her new custom wedding genealogies are perfect for displaying at the wedding and afterward in your home.
The faux astronomy was inspired by real vintage celestial maps. You provide Dweck with a list of friends and family, their relation to you (your brother’s boytoy, Mom’s “pinochle” partner, Grandpa’s herbal delivery dude), and their signs. She then creates a work of art similar to a family tree: a chart detailing the relationship of the bride and groom to their guests featuring made-up constellations on a Milky Way graphic in any color scheme.
The sentimental keepsakes start at $535.
