Now Chinese Takeout Restaurant Opens

Chinese takeaway: it’s fast, tasty, there’s no washing up, and if you can restrain yourself, there are leftovers for breakfast. It doesn’t get much better than that. Until Now.

Opening today next to Liverpool Street Station, Now is a takeout spot serving South China-inspired street food. Try breakfast specialties on your way in: rice milk porridge with fresh fruit or sweet and savoury buns (chocolate and custard, ham and cheese). Lunch and dinner include dim sum dumpling faves: classic (chicken shu mai), seafood (prawn and carrot) and vegetarian (spinach and mushroom), as well as soups, rice pots and sides (duck rolls, crispy prawn balls).

Hot meals are packed in a clever new takeout basket that both cooks your dumplings and keeps them warm while you hurry home. Not in a rush? Grab one of ten seats and sip a Chinese beer or a Virgin Wasabi Mary and take in the vibe, which is as close to a bustling Shanghai market as you’re going to get right now.
