This cozy Cow Hollow spot from the same peeps behind Rose’s Cafe offers delish pan-Mediterranean small plates (think sugar snap peas with mint and butter) and a stellar wine list.

Glitzy bowling alley has 24 lanes, a mini arcade and flat-screen TVs, karaoke nights, disco bowling, and high-heeled bowling shoes. Lick your fingers (there’s BBQ shrimp, spring rolls, sliders) before going for that spare.
It’s all in the family at this Jewish-style diner. Expect standard deli fare (Bubbie’s chicken soup, eggs, pancakes, brisket, bagels and schmear) and fun perks like an in-house soda jerk.
Local gals with an eye to either coast like to shop here for Rebecca Taylor and Kara Janx frocks, edgy denim, and outfit-making tops. Frequent cocktail parties and visiting designer trunk shows keep ’em coming back for more.
Sweet and petite shop serves classic feminine style (and has a cute blog to boot). Proprietor Kerrilynn Pamer treats everyone like a regular.

Treasure trove for ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and some ’80s furniture. New gems — low-slung sofas, groovy lamps, midcentury tables — are unloaded nearly every day from local estates and alleys alike.
The go-to site stocks the expected (Chloe, Joie, Elizabeth and James) and the unexpected (emerging designers) along with killer bags and shoes.
The parlor doesn’t take the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach, but rather stuff of a higher plane — simple but deep flavored. Taste just-churned bites of black raspberry, tangy peach, sweet ginger, and coconut (to name but a few).
