A Guide to Free Yoga Classes

Stretch for Less

no-fee yoga atlanta!

What’s better than yoga? Not having to pay for it. (That utkatasana twist may come a little easier when you’re not stressing over your bank account.) Give it a go with these freebies.

Shopping Included
Notice that favorite pair of pants wearing thin during downward dog? Pick up a new pair (or five) after a class at Lululemon Athletica (Sundays, 11 a.m.-noon; resumes March 25). A different studio takes over each month — March belongs to Concourse Athletic Club. Mats are provided. 3400 Around Lenox Road, suite 102a, Buckhead (404-816-7678).

The Nice Neighbor
Follow the talented, certified leaders from Atlanta Hot Yoga to the cutest corner of the city, Virginia at Highland, for a session at Atlanta Activewear (Saturdays, 9 a.m.). BYO mat suggested, but there are a few extras on hand. 996 Virginia Avenue, Virginia Highland (404-532-1975).

Power Play
New kid on the block Red Hot Yoga provides a 90-minute For the People session (Saturdays, 12:30 p.m.; donations welcome). It’s a traditional hot class, so hydrate and be ready to get sweaty. Mats are on loan on your first day; after that, BYO or rent one for $1. 721 Miami Circle, suite 106, Buckhead (404-474-7052).

Basically Free
Experience bliss for a suggested donation of merely $5. Nirvana Yoga caters to late risers and fanatics of the lunch break workout with community classes (Monday through Friday, noon). Rent a mat for $1 if you forget yours. 464 Cherokee Avenue, suite 201, Grant Park (404-420-0999).
