Sugarloft Bakery Brings Little Havana to You

Sweet or Savory Cuban Pastries

sugarloft pastelitos!

Question: What’s sweet, flaky, and rarely found in this zip code? (Besides your flight attendant roomie who forgets to pay rent.)

Answer: authentic pastelitos.

Thanks to Miami transplants and Sugarloft bakers Stacie and Manny Rodriguez, you can now feast on the melt-in-your-mouth Cuban puff pastries further inland.

Choose between the traditional guava jam-filled guayaba or queso (sweet cream cheese); indecisive types can enjoy a combo of the two. If savory is more your speed, spring for the pollo or carne varieties.

Not to be overlooked: arroz con leche (creamy rice pudding), Key lime pie, and Mexican wedding cookies dusted with powdered sugar.

As if you didn’t already have a soft spot for your new neighbors.

Available at the Atlanta Underground Market on June 25, $2. Sign up online at atlantaundergroundmarket.com to be notified of the secret location. For custom orders, go to sugarloft.com, prices vary.
