Warning: The opening of the Atlanta Food Truck Park & Market this Thursday may give you serious anxiety. (Taco or gyro? Save room for gelato? Where to sit?)
Find ways to cope at the three-acre gathering that combines a market, bocce ball court, and up to fifteen vendors serving lunch and dinner daily.
Chill out with Happy Belly’s grilled chicken and veggies or give yourself a time-out by picnicking on the grassy hill with Wow Food Truck’s arepas (stuffed corn cakes), Sweet Auburn Barbecue’s smoked brisket, Mighty Meatballs, or the Blaxican’s Mexican soul food (tortillas topped with chicken-fried skirt steak, onions, peppers, and barbecue sauce).
Self-soothe with a Westside Creamery cone on the weekend (best enjoyed while perusing the nursery and petite farmers market); let off some steam when musicians jam on Thursday evenings.
Art parties and late-night noshing are in the works.
Go on, swallow your fears.
