Long ago, thespians in the Georgian Terrace Hotel’s grand ballroom escaped the glitz of the Gone with the Wind gala for a snack in the downstairs grill.
Now you can lounge like Leigh or Gable in the same space, reopened as Proof and Provision.
The hidden spot (located underneath Livingston) keeps the original exposed brick walls (if only they could talk) and concrete flooring intact, while adding modern touches like communal tables and green leather couches.
Enjoy refreshments like the Such Sweet Breath (vodka, hibiscus syrup, lemon jasmine, soda), barrel-aged liquors, and chef Zeb Stevenson’s chicken liver mousse and off-the-menu lardo pizza. All food items are made in-house (ketchup, hot dogs, fig jam) or sourced locally (cheese, charcuterie).
Arrive early (first come, first served) and grab drinks before The Fox.
We promise this version ends well.
