Summary: Antifrumpy flats created by eco-conscious entrepreneur Julie Brown for work and play. Made with a reduced carbon footprint.
Education: Brown studied in China and Italy (and picked up a penchant for leather) before landing a gig on Capitol Hill.
Work History: Designer Jessica Taft Langdon lists Alexander Wang, Franco Sarto, and Proenza Schouler as former employers.
Technical Skills: An upper of Italian leather in neutral colors; heels from reclaimed leather (bags, belts, or boots live on) in croc- and leopard-print calfskin. All handcrafted kicks have traveled Route 66 (read: made in America).
Activities: Long workdays and errand-filled lunch breaks, holiday shopping marathons, tailgating, standing-room-only concerts, and Sunday brunch.
