A snatch is:
a) a rude grab.
b) a crass term for female nether regions.
c) a game for those with a quick hand and a fast mind.
If you answered C (oh, how well you know us), game on.
Snatch, like word games that have been entertaining the masses since Victorian times, is as addictive as it is simple. It takes minutes to learn but hours to finish. And once you start, you just … can’t … stop.
The game consists of a tube filled with 100 lettered tiles. You start by laying the tiles facedown. Players take turns choosing a tile, the goal being to form a word from the ever-growing collection of letters. But here’s where it gets fun (and competitive): Opponents can snatch tiles from other players if it helps them make a word out of their own stack.
Which means it pays to be d) all of the above.
Rude, crass, and quick.
