Dolcielo Brownies

Late-night indulgences? A little predictable lately.

Sweet. On the whole, satisfying. And still, thoroughly blah.

Dolcielo brownies, on the other hand, will have you humming to bed and singing their praises come morning. Named for the Italian dolce (sweet) and cielo (heaven), they’re brownies intended for adults, with delectable fruit-liquor duos in each deliverable batch.

Among the inventive recipes are Celesola, made from pineapples soaked in Bacardi Gold, macadamia, and dark chocolate; Donamato, an exotic blend of plum, Kahlua, walnuts, and cinnamon; and Amureo, with sun-dried apricot, golden DiSaronno amaretto, and chunked almonds.

Each brownie comes sealed, wrapped, and tied with gold mesh ribbon, and arrives nestled alongside a pretty, table-ready info card explaining each bite — adding even more appeal to your next nocturnal nibble session.

Which we’re guessing won’t be so humdrum after all.
