Drawing the Line
Kaleidoscope Boutique Reopens

Five years ago, Botox “totally freaked you out.”
Today, somebody says, “Wipe that look off your face,” and you think they’re onto you.
Looks as if Kaleidoscope — the cozy Decatur Square store you’ve loved forever — has had some work done, too.
The new location between Boogaloos and Cafe Lily might be the smallest change you’ll discover. The space is bigger (2,000 square feet) and brighter (white walls and shimmer screens). And the super-size lounge will soon feature a flat-screen, XBox, and sleek beverage station.
Owner Camille Wright has partnered with 4Bags (co-owned by 99X’s Leslie Fram and specializing in hard-to-find styles) to bring a store-within-a-store to the front of the space.
Kaleidoscope classics remain: Denim from rarer lines like Vitamina is as plentiful as cuts from Red Engine and Joe’s Jeans, and accessories from favorites like Mark Edge and Michelle Rhodes are present and accounted for.
Unlike, say, your natural laugh lines.
Kaleidoscope Boutique, 252 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur (404-378-1214 or kscopeboutique.com).
