Take a Ride on the Southside

When mentioning anything OTP to a die-hard ITPer, you’re likely to be met with some obligatory icks and eeews. Suggest dining at a farmhouse on the Southside, for example, and Izzy ITP is likely to split her True Religions from the strain of uncontrolled laughter.

“Oh, Izzy,” you’ll protest. “Not a farmhouse, The Farmhouse. A brand new restaurant, just opened this past weekend, in the oh-so-envirofriendly Serenbe community. The prix fixe menu changes every day based on seasonal ingredients that the kitchen selects from local growers and the organic farm on-site. Oh, and chef Tony Seichrist is a bona fide hottie — he was previously at Athens’s Five and Ten.”

She’ll warm to the idea a smidge more when you inform her that, since the place is too new for a liquor license, she’s welcome to take her own bubbly without fear of a corking fee.

“Well, I never heard of that where I come from,” Miss Izzy will surely declare.

Our point exactly.
