The season for sunning and funning is upon us, and that newsboy cap over a busted coif? Not fooling anyone. Time to call in the big guns.

You’ll find all the ammo you need at Adore, the new hair studio where Shelly Williams (former manager at Cortex) has tapped cut and color experts Robbi Smith (Salon Red), Steven Sloss, Patrick Cochran, and Tiffany Crossett (all of Studio Oliver).

Don’t expect the usual round of “scuffle for the new client” typical of young salons, either; Williams assigns you a stylist based on your personality and overall look — rather than by whose chair just happens to be empty when you darken her doorstep.

In addition to gadgets and products, she stocks accessories finds from the apparel mart (we spotted leather wristlets pinned with clusters of turquoise beads, among other pieces) and bath goods from France’s Pre de Provence.

So you can count yourself armed and ready for a bang-up summer.
