What’s in Your Wallet?

Invite-only credit card? Oui. V.I.P. parking at Phipps? Si. Membership to Atlanta’s newest night hot spot?

Ah. Got you there. Well, you have two days to get to it, because that’s when the hotly anticipated Lotus opens in Lindbergh City Center.

The lower level lounge is a Vegas-style showroom with all the flash that implies: cocktail waitresses, genre-mixing DJs, waterfall, hand-blown glass bar. But who cares?

The real action is on the members-only second floor (a.k.a. The Club), where you can book an intimate, glass-enclosed private suite or else just look down on everyone else (literally) and revel in the knowledge that access to the back entrance, exclusive humidor, and lockers was sooo worth it.

Everyone can order from the enticing menu of tapas, dim sum, and sushi, which should help bring a little culinary gravitas to the no-man’s-land between Midtown and Buckhead.

Not that you’re one to seek out status symbols.

But it’s certainly worth checking off your list.

Lotus, 565 Main Street, Lindbergh City Center (404-869-3445 or lotusatlanta.com).
