Sole Searching
Pink Studio Footwear

Leftie: Pshaw. Like, summer footwear is so officially last season.
Rightie: Seriously. If I pass myself on the street one more time, I swear, I’ll kick something.
You: Geez. Don’t tell me the voices are back.
Alas, they are. But look at the bright side: Sisters Lisa and Lucy Chang seem to have read your mind when they designed Pink Studio’s fall collection.
Not familiar with the 4-year-old label? Snub-nose flats and sandals have been their tiny brand’s signature for the past few seasons. But once that look became all the rage, Lucy (the more design-inclined of the two) hit the streets of Tokyo, London, and Milan to soak up the international hipster scene and step up Pink Studio’s look.
And step up she has. The update boasts experimental styles and colors meant to stand out in a crowd: There are rough-woven, multitone fabrics and mustard and periwinkle suede slouch boots. On ballet styles, florals, grommets, and irregular buttons are the norm.
Ah, normal. A step in the right direction. Eleven left to go.
Available at Sole, 1245 Caroline Street, suite 100, Edgewood Retail District (404-523-1777 or soleatlanta.com). To see styles, go to pinkstudiofootwear.com.
