Make Yourself at Home
Armour & Co. Opens

Some days, you bask in domestic life.
Of course, those aren’t the ones that find you tripping over the rug, busting your chin wide open on the coffee table, and damning your beloved pooch in abject frustration.
Disencumber your spirits (and your junky setup) at home emporium Armour & Co., newly opened in DRTC’s old Virginia Highland studio.
Owner Jayme Leffler’s history at Bungalow and Esprit inform the store’s easy, breezy feel: seaweed prints by Natural Curiosities, white pepper nectarine candles from Voluspa, soaps from L’Atelier du Savon, and, of course, impeccable furniture finds from all over at a slew of price points.
As if that weren’t enough, her ever-changing mix — everything from bossa nova to design books — arranged throughout the store promises something fresh every time you visit.
With those kinds of goods (and a little luck), you’ll make peace with the domestic gods.
And maybe your dog, too.
Armour & Co., 1198 North Highland Avenue, Virginia Highland (404-817-3725 or armourandco.com).
