When it comes to barhopping, Atlantans fall into two groups:
A: those willing to endure anything to say they’ve been there, done that.
B: those who went there, did that, and cabbed it right back to “that place with the stiff drinks and cute bartenders.”
Hold the stereotypes and find yourself in (blessedly) mixed company at Crü — a chill new loft-turned-lounge that seats only 25 upstairs and 25 down.
The space is laid-back enough to please everybody — as long as they’re in the mood for world beats, wine, and small plates. The downstairs bar serves Argentine malbec, South African pinotage, bottled beers from all over, and quick bites (warm nuts, panini, and cheese plates).
Upstairs, the table-spare overlook has banquettes and chaise lounges (ideal ice-breaking for frosty type A’s) and a DJ who spins three nights a week (the most discriminating B’ers will approve).
Yeah, you can see yourself here.
No matter who you are.
