So here’s something new for all the dirt dealers out there: Found jewelry artist Tiffany Mooring, Serenbe Farms artist-in-residence, is selling her wares in Atlanta.

Rule the dinner party circuit in dainty, bob-style earrings with a modest “Oh, these? Made from imperial Russian barrettes.” Or cause a stir in beaded necklaces harvested from Hollywood-era Chanel earrings. Finally, blow inquiring minds with the fact that Mooring donates 10 percent of all sales to Desire Street, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing inner-city New Orleans.

Which may be the best story of all.

And beats “Oh, this? Mass produced somewhere in Hong Kong” any day.
