Kate’s Club’s 30K in 30 Days Drive

Love: Mom and Dad. Hate: Chocolate cliches, tacky ties, and associated Hallmark hullabaloo.
This year, honor the ’rents by donating to Kate’s Club’s 30K in 30 Days fundraising drive.
Nonprofit founder Kate Atwood lost her own mom when she was 12 years old. Now her organization, which helps kids deal with grief, is hoping to raise $30,000 in the month between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
The club plans monthly outings, Saturday activities, and weekly support groups, so every little bit — from water bottles to paper towels — helps. And it all counts toward the spring goal. Got more time than money? Buddy up with a kid or volunteer for marketing, event planning, or office work.
Momma always said it’s better to give than to receive. Now put your money where her mouth is.
