Why: You’ll be there anyway. (Or at least outside trying to get tickets.)

Atlanta Jazz Festival
What: Three-days of legends and local groovers play stages all over the park.
Why: This has Memorial Day plannin’ written all over it.

Where: Piedmont Park, Piedmont Ave. at 14 St., Midtown.

GIVE
Reuse-A-Shoe
What: Nike’s program recycles old kicks into fields, courts, and playgrounds for kids.
Why: You’re well-heeled enough as it is.

EAT
Curry Simple Coconut Soup
