Luck of the Raw

Raw Bags

Nobody likes a raw deal. (Unless it involves all-you-can-eat sushi.)

But Beth Warner is putting a positive spin on the term with her line of bags. A marriage of recycled Chinese newspaper and creative design, Raw Bags utilizes natural materials to create ecofriendly accessories you’ll happily haul around town.

They come in two styles: a fold-over clutch and a tote with cutout handle. Both are black and white with specks of color (thanks, comics) and coated with a laminate for protection from leaky water bottles and explosive pens.

The bags cost 100 bucks or less. And not that you need extra incentive, but the company makes regular donations to organizations like Global Green USA and 1% for the Planet.

Making them a sweet deal all the way around.
