Up and Eat ’Em

The Hil Opens at Serenbe

order up!

Whether of the lover or liquor variety, your French encounters have always done one thing: left you squarely on your ass.

Serenbe’s third dining spot, The Hil, looks to be your latest knockout. Only this time for all the right reasons.

Chef Hilary White (103 West) bases her menus on the freshest Serenbe-grown goods. Like farm-raised chicken pot pie, oven-baked pizzas with wild mushrooms and honey shallots, and a quail and peaches app that you just have to taste for yourself.

Stan Topol-designed interiors and the stylish but sincere vibe evoke founder Steve Nygren’s much-beloved The Pleasant Peasant. Dig the details, too: local art on the walls, a working fireplace, and charming town views from the patio.

Still French shy? One bite of The Hil parfait (coffee ice cream, whip, dark chocolate, and a cookie dough scoop), and you’ll be flying their flag.

Not to mention your own.

The Hil, 9110 Selborne Lane, Palmetto (770-463-6040).
