Hot and Bothered?
Random Ways to Cool Down

Seems that Mother Nature has put our weather on timeout. In the oven. Cue clever cooling distraction:
Go into Night Stalker Mode
Supplies: Ceiling fan, plastic spray bottle, H2O.
How-to: Hit the sack. Turn off lights. Turn on ceiling fan. Spray up, cool down.
Make Like a Movie Buff
Supplies: A copy of Do the Right Thing, ice cubes, viewing buddy (optional).
How-to: Observe ice scene with rapt attention. Draw inspiration as needed.
Give It the Old College Try
Supplies: On-the-fritz AC, ceiling fan, tool kit, lack of electrocution fear.
How-to: Turn off the fan, remove blades and reattach upside down. Turn fan back on and marvel at how hot air is drawn up.
Play Oscillation Water Tag
Supplies: Water pistols, food coloring, oscillating fan on table, multiple friends around room.
How-to: Turn on fan and fire into back of blade to hit (and dye) as many targets as possible. Ducking is allowed. Running is not.
Raid the First-Aid Kit
Supplies: Vapor Rub, freezer-friendly athletic compresses.
How-to: Administer menthol massage a la chest cold affliction. Apply ice compresses as desired. Prepare for chill bumps.
That should cool you for a few.
