Julia Daniel’s Word Rings

Coffee number six. Sip. Sip. Flash back to last night: You followed the rules (liquor before beer!) but in the end, Jägermeister cost you a prize pair of Sigerson flats. And your dignity.
Good thing Lush Designs’s rings remind us that there’s occasional beauty in being hammered.
When you first found Julia Daniel’s pounded-to-perfection mixed-media work at Beehive, you were intrigued. Vintage painted birds encased in resin were the perfect conversation starter, and your inner badass (she who sprang for car bomb shots) got hold of pieces that used leather. Intoxicating.
Her customizable word rings were your downfall, though. You followed your gut with a Here Comes Trouble index-birdie-ring finger set, and, next thing you know, you’re offering free knuckle sandwiches left and right.
At least that’s what the bouncer told you.
